Do I need to go to court to get divorced in France ?

In France, it is possible to get divorced without needing to go to court if:

- both partners agree that they want to get divorced

- both partners agree on the legal/financial ramifications of their divorce

If the aforementioned conditions are met, both partners may ask their lawyers to draft a written divorce agreement.
